This is it...tonight is the eve of all the changes that will be taking place in my life :-) I am so freaking excited about it all! Almost feel like a child at Christmas...seriously!
I have to share this - today while I was ordering my lunch, my friend asked me what I was having, knowing that tomorrow I begin Weight Watchers for the last time. I was having a turkey sandwich on wheat, no mayo, with avocado and origianlly with swiss, but since they forgot to put it on, I was able to live without it. She asked me why I wasn't having the super duper nachos and living it up today. See, I had originally set out for lunch at my favorite food group - Taco Bell, but since I left my debit card at my desk, I decided I didn't need the nachos and could make a healthier choice. I did, and it was delish!
Guess what I am saying is - I didn't have a "Last Supper" kind of day. I smoothly made the transition and had healthy meals all day.
Tonight for dinner we had a delicious Black and White Chili - a recipe I will soon be sharing! Crazy easy and one crock pot made enough for dinner for both of us and 2 lunches for me. Can't beat that!!
My breakfast - Whoa Oatmeal (oatmeal, apples, almonds and cinnamon) - is already cooking in the crock pot and will be ready in the morning. Six breakfasts for PENNIES! Another recipe that will soon follow, I am sure.
Tomorrow's dinner is prepped and Tony will put it in the crockpot tomorrow. Lentil and portabello soup. Another high fiber, low calorie choice that will yield dinner and some lunches.
After dinner tonight I tried the Biggest Loser workout on our new Kinect for the XBox 360. AMAZING!!! A HUGE thanks to Justin and Nicole for the GameStop gift card at Christmas that made it possible for us to purchase the Kinect. One workout in and I'm HOOKED! Can't wait to do the next one (although my thighs are slightly protesting...lol).
Tomorrow, in addition to my first weigh in, I have an appointment to be measured, test my bmi, and take my "before" picture. While the numbers may frighten me intially, I am so excited to know my starting point and get started again!
Life as I know may change initially, and it may be tough to fully embrace everything in the beginning, but I am ready to takes years, pounds, and inches off my body!
